Amma's recipes

Am still an amateur in replicating the quality of dishes that Mum or Naani serve. But here is an honest effort to present some of my Granny's  (whom I call Amma) traditional recipes with a modern twist. I would like to begin with one of my tastiest favourites : Gobi Manchurian  Ingredients : Cauliflower 1/2 Kg  (Please note that although this dish is called Gobi Manchurian, its more like ) Corn Flour Maida Onions - 4 medium-sized & medium-chopped Tomatoes - 6 big Garlic- Ginger paste - 2 tablespoons Oil to fry Procedure :  1. Boil water & put tomatoes in it for 5 minutes.  2. Peel them & make a puree.  3. Put  chopped onions in heated oil & fry till golden brown.  4. Take half of the fried onions aside.  5. Add Garlic-Ginger paste to the contents of pan & fry for some more time.  6. Add tomato puree to this & cook for 5 more minutes.  7.
